Gunilla Girardo Appointed President of Next Level USA

Effective July 1st, 2010, Gunilla Girardo, formerly President of the Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce-USA, took office as President for Next Level’s USA operations, headquartered at the House of Sweden in Washington D.C.

Gunilla Girardo

“I am very excited and humbled to join Next Level.  It’s a fantastic company with an excellent leadership development program . The response that we have received from seasoned executives is very positive. I am convinced that the Washington area is the perfect base for Next Level to expand on the U.S. market,” says Gunilla Girardo adding that: “I also feel very priviledged of having served such a fine organization as SACC USA for the past nine years. It has given me a true appreciation for what a non profit organization with limited resources but a huge network of dedicated individuals can achieve together when determined to create new business opportunities between Sweden and the U.S.”

Gunilla Girardo, who is a native of Sweden, has worked in international business for eighteen years, fifteen of them in the Washington, D.C. area. Before joining SACC-USA she was a manager at the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) and Director at 20/20 Vision. Prior to that she was Program Director for the International Business School (IBS) of Sweden, responsible for their marketing, PR- and journalism programs in Washington D.C., and its Executive Secretarial Program in England, Germany, Spain and France.
